We last year came for two weeks and stayed for the summer! We back this year in a seasonal spot and loving it!!!!! Staff.. as always... warm... welcoming and always ready to assist when required and with a pleasant smile!!!!! Our compliments on the updates they have made to the park and know they will continue ......if we had a say on this KOA .... and we have been to a lot..... this should be ranked number 1 KOA in North America.....Janet and Mark
Excellent park for a quick "camping" trip. Stayed in the 1 bedroom camp cabin which was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4 and our lab. Air conditioning and the small fridge were a great surprise. The park grounds, pools as well as the bathrooms and showers were very clean and well-maintained. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. There is some highway noise and you can hear some trains at night but that was to be expected since we were not in a provincial or national park. All in, a great place for a few days.
This place is amazing. Cant say enough about here. Kids had a absolute blast all weekend. They had something going on pretty much every hour for the kids. We got a cabin and it was super clean.
Pros:Clean campgroundFriendly staffFlat, well maintained sites with fire pitsCons:-Loud: The campground has an interstate behind it and a well traveled road in front of it with no noise isolation (trees, etc)-Expensive: given the noise and we were there two weeks before the end of the season when the pools and such were closed, we were surprised by how expensive our stay was.-layout: the only had one rustic site and it was at the very front of the campground near the road. At night it sounded like the cars were in our tent. With the road being surprisingly busy; it was only quiet between maybe 1am and 4am.In the end, I think it should be advertised as an RV park because as a tent camper it was not an enjoyable experience
This was a wonderful experience for our Grandchildren who found so much to do here. The pool, playground, wagon ride, & Hawaiian party was all so much fun. It was hard to keep them at our trailer for meals! The staff was excellent especially for the little ones. Thank you. See you next year.
