We visit this book store every year on the Labour Day weekend, and it never disappoints. It has a great selection of newer releases and some older books too. I found several titles that I had been looking for. The owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I recommend supporting this local independent shop.
Went here several times over the last 10 yrs - including on Aug 16/2025. Huge selection of older books plus newer ones. Debbie, the operator there, is a delight!
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable owner, large selection of books, and very, very reasonable prices. I got a vintage paperback of “The Shining” for myself and a couple of books for the kids. It is such a pleasant place to spend some time when visiting the area on a colder day. Glad we stopped by!
Popped in one day for a few minutes when I was visiting my brother in the area, I should have given myself way more time to explore this wonderful store. Next time I'm in town I have to return.
Good. Found some Shakespeare there I couldn't find anywhere else. Friendly clerk. Not the biggest or best used book store I've ever been to, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there.
