We go there from Alliston 4 times in the summer for lunch before attending the theatre at King's Wharf. It has excellent food(fresh fish!) & friendly staff. We especially enjoy Liz, our waitress!!!!
Went in tonight no reservations place was really busy... Owner was in the kitchen "happily" cooking away. Ordered the pickerel panfried.. delicious. Very good value for the money. Friendly staff and a laid back environment some of the freshest fish I have had in a long time and I live in British Columbia. What a cool gem in downtown Penetanguishene. Well done!!
Pollack and chips was incredible! The batter was nice and crispy and the fish was very fresh. Our server was very nice and overheard that we wanted to share our fish and chips, so she split it on to two plates. The wings were great and they gave us one extra. My girlfriend and I highly recommend eating here!
Was very disappointed with our dinner tonight wings were tough and had no taste same with the prime rib no taste very blan
A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with hearty meals. We each had the full mate's breakfast (3 eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast) plus coffee, and it's was less than $30 for the two of us. Chatted for some time with the owner, as did other guests. Definitely recommend.
