Fries are frozen, not fresh cut. Gravy is free, but sits in warmer all day so not the best. You put your own toppings on the burgers but missing stuff like mayo, lettuce, etc. At least the burger was hand-made. They really cheap out on the serving containers, expecting you to carry everything in a little flimsy box. No bags available for take-out orders. This place has really gone downhill since the good days. 2 stars is for the hand-made burger. If they used frozen it would only be 1.
Service was terrible and few people needed to be served so they were busy ( maybe 8 people in the whole place) They threw out four meals because they couldnt figure out who ordered them or were sitting so long waiting for the rest of the meal. I ordered two hamburgers and chicken burger and chicken fingers, took over a half hour before I got all the meal. Terrible service, no organization, very unclean. Even if the food was fabulous and the area was decent being on the dock ... the service ruined it. Ill never go or ever recommend that anyone I know goes here.
Great View!! Food is frozen then reheated. Portion sizes are small for prices. Food tastes bland and frankly like cardboard. The worst chip place ever... But again the view is nice. My suggestions would be to have fresh cut fries. Up the size of fresh hamburger. Organize the staff. And really try for better quality condiments.
No idea why this place is so infamous, the food was bland and very basic, burger was grey and very thin, not sure I'm I'm missing something ?
Most reviews have been right on - great location, but fish and chips are mediocre at best. Burgers looked good at least; wished I had ordered one instead of the fish. Probably wouldn't waste money again on the fries.
